For example, the JJO35 index includes the top 35 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization. The index buys only cryptocurrencies that are market leaders and sells those that have dropped out of the ranking.
Thus, system index portfolios are constantly reviewed and rebalanced automatically, changing their composition in accordance with price movements.
Managing the index happens directly on your exchange account. You can connect J’JO to any exchange in just 5 minutes by following the simple instructions provided on the connection page of your chosen exchange in your J’JO account.
To create an index, go to your J’JO personal account and click on the “Portfolio” tab. Choose one o tab. Choose one of the J’JO system indexes and click on the “Read more” button under the selected index.
In the opened window you can see the coins that are currently included in the index, as well as the settings for index rebalancing.
To invest in J’JO index, click on the “Invest” button.
You have three coin options to invest in:

Choose one of the coins you want to invest in the J’JO index. When selecting a coin, its balance on your exchange account is displayed.

To withdraw the profitable part of your investments from the J’JO index is very easy. Click on the “Withdraw” button and choose one of the three coins (BTC/ETH/USDT) in which you want to convert your assets. Enter the amount and click on the “Continue” button.
The assets will be converted within 30 minutes.
Important!
Please note that you should withdraw the profit part of your investments only on the J’JO platform, not on the exchange website. Otherwise, you will violate the integrity of your portfolio.

What are system indexes and how to connect them?

1. You can recover your password by clicking on the "Log in" button located in the top right corner of the J'JO website homepage.

On the opened page, click on the "Forgot password" label. Then enter your email address that you used for registration and click on the "Restore" button.
After clicking the button, the system will ask you to enter a 4-digit code - password, which will be sent to your email inbox (if the email did not arrive, check the "spam" folder of your email service).
After entering the 4-digit code, a window will open where you can change your old password to a new one. Come up with and remember your new password.
2. To change your existing password, log in to your personal account and click on the profile icon located in the upper right corner. Then go to settings and select the "Security" section.

Enter your old password and create a new one, then click the "Save" button.

Rebalancing is the process of adjusting the proportions in an index or portfolio to match the initially set parameters.
The difference between an index and a portfolio: The primary distinction between an index and a portfolio is their composition and purpose. An index, for instance, represents a "top-list" of cryptocurrencies. Take the systemic index JJO35 as an example: it encompasses the top 35 coins by market capitalization. This index automatically acquires leading coins and disposes of those falling out of its ranking. This adjustment happens irrespective of the chosen rebalancing method, as the index's primary goal is to track the current top cryptocurrencies. On the other hand, a portfolio consists of a collection of cryptocurrencies chosen by an individual or entity and doesn't necessarily change based on any specific ranking.
In J'JO, you can set up two types of automatic rebalancing for your index or portfolio:

Periodic rebalancing: the index or portfolio is automatically adjusted at set time intervals to match the original proportions. This method reduces risks from sharp price fluctuations and generally enhances returns.</li>
</ul>
Thus, if your index/portfolio contains 5 coins and a 14-day rebalancing is set, and the ranking of the 5 coins changes on the 5th day, the index/portfolio will only be adjusted on the 14th day.
When creating your own index or portfolio, you can set rebalancing with any other frequency. You can enter the appropriate number, and the balance of your index will change every day. Due to the high volatility of the crypto market, J'JO recommends 14-day or 28-day rebalancing periods.

Threshold rebalancing: if the share of any cryptocurrency in the index or portfolio deviates by a set threshold percentage either positively or negatively, an automatic rebalancing occurs.</li>
</ul>
Threshold rebalancing example:
Suppose you set a threshold value of 15%.
If your index consists of 5 assets, each making up 20%, then the weight of each asset is 1/5 or 0.2 of the portfolio.
If one of these assets increases by 15% from its initial price, its share in the index will rise to 23% (0.2 + 15% = 0.23).
To return the index to its original values, it's necessary to sell the excess of the asset that grew to 23% and buy the other assets, which now weigh less than 20%.

Rebalancing: what it means

After purchasing any of the J'JO subscriptions and connecting one of the supported exchanges, you can create an unlimited number of indexes or portfolios.
The function to compare the returns of indices/portfolios is available immediately after their creation.
If you have not purchased a J’JO subscription, creating your own indices or portfolios is not available. However, even without a subscription, you can invest in the J'JO35 systemic index for free with a deposit of up to $500.

Can I create my custom index and/or portfolio?

Advanced J'JO functionality, designed for more experienced investors, allows for the easy creation of custom investment strategies: including any number of cryptocurrencies in an index, adjusting asset weights, and rebalancing conditions. Moreover, backtesting is available to compare the performance of created indexes/portfolios among themselves and against major cryptocurrencies based on historical data.
The minimum amount to create your own index can be less than $50, depending on the number of coins chosen.
The index consists of cryptocurrencies with the highest market capitalization. If the cryptocurrency rankings change, it will automatically be reflected in the index composition during rebalancing. Thus, the index always contains only the strongest cryptocurrencies.
If the market capitalization of a new cryptocurrency exceeds the capitalization of any of the ones already on the list, it will be automatically added (if not on the blacklist) according to the rebalancing settings.
1) Go to your personal account -&gt; Portfolios -&gt; Create portfolio. Enter the index name and choose the number of top coins in the index.

<li>You can choose up to 50 top cryptocurrencies that you want the index to support (starting from the top-1 to the top-50). The full list of top coins can be viewed on the <a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/" target="_self">coinmarketcap.com</a> website. The coin rankings constantly change due to the high volatility of the crypto market.</li>

2) After selecting the number of top coins in the index, click on the "Configure" button.
Blacklist - J'JO can take into account your cryptocurrency preferences because of the Blacklist feature. If you do not want to see certain coins in your created index, simply add them to the blacklist. If you have selected the top 5 and the coin in fifth place is on the blacklist, the coin in sixth place will be included in the index instead.
3) Now you need to configure the percentage allocation of cryptocurrencies in your index.

Equal Weight - is a percentage distribution of assets where each cryptocurrency has the same weight in the index. This means that each coin is represented in the index with an equal percentage share, making it much easier to track its performance.
Example:
If you have 10 cryptocurrencies in your index, dividing 100% by 10 gives a 10% share for each coin.
Please note that during the next rebalancing, one of these coins may be replaced by some other coin in case of changes in the cryptocurrency rankings.
Market capitalization is calculated by multiplying the current market price of a cryptocurrency by the total number of coins of that cryptocurrency in circulation. The larger the market capitalization of a cryptocurrency, the greater its weight in the index. This allows your index to better reflect the current state of the overall market and brings it closer to the total return of all cryptocurrencies.

The portfolio consists of cryptocurrencies selected by you and rebalances them according to the specified settings — unlike an index, a portfolio does not remove or add new cryptocurrencies.
Here's how to set it up:
1) Go to your personal account -&gt; Portfolios -&gt; Create portfolio. Enter the name of the portfolio and click on the "Configure" button.
2) Choose the cryptocurrencies you want to add to your portfolio (the list of coins you can choose from depends on your exchange). You can select from one to all of the available coins.
3) After selecting the assets, set their percentage allocation. You can choose between two options: equal weight and manual.

Example:
If you have 10 cryptocurrencies in your index, dividing 100% by 10 gives a 10% share for each coin.
In this case, you cannot change the percentage manually.
Manual means that you set the percentages yourself. There's no need to add up the percentages on a calculator, J'JO will adjust the percentage ratios automatically. If necessary, use the lock to prevent J'JO from automatically adjusting the percentages.
4) Configure the rebalancing conditions.
Rebalancing is a forced adjustment of the percentage distribution of your portfolio according to the previously set settings.

"Don't rebalance" means that J'JO will not buy or sell cryptocurrencies in your portfolio. The portfolio will be launched according to the selected percentages, but the asset percentage allocation will change organically over time: some coins will rise while others will fall.
5) After setting up the rebalancing, click the "Create" button.
Congratulations! You have successfully created your portfolio!
Now you can compare it with other portfolios or invest in it directly in one of the cryptocurrencies of your choice — BTC/USDT/ETH. The first rebalancing will take no more than 30 minutes.

The larger the market capitalization of a cryptocurrency, the greater its weight in the index. Example of calculating the market capitalization of a cryptocurrency:
If one unit of a cryptocurrency is currently trading at $10, and the total number of these coins in circulation is 1,000,000 units, then the market capitalization of this cryptocurrency would be $10,000,000.
You can easily find the current price, quantity, and calculated market capitalization for each cryptocurrency on the <a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/tokens/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Coinmarketcap</a> website.
Detailed example of coin distribution in a index:
You've added 2 coins to your index (market capitalizations of the coins in the example are calculated as of the article's creation date).

First, let's find the total market capitalization of the two coins: $550,181,989,570 + $219,642,873,971 = $769,824,863,541.
Then, let's determine the share of each coin in their combined market capitalization:

This method of percentage distribution of asset weights in an index uses the square root of the value of each asset to reduce its influence on the index. As we saw in the example above, Bitcoin accounted for 71.46% of the index's value. This is considered risky as a large portion of the index is concentrated in a single asset. To make the distribution of funds in the index more even, the square root of market capitalization can be used.
Let's see how this changes the final asset distribution taken from the example above.
